Kids and youth

Gloves on at four

Judah Pride runs three youth stages, starting with ages 4 to 8. Character development and self-esteem are not a bonus feature here. They are the curriculum.

Youth programs

Three stages, one floor

Kids move up when they are ready, not when a calendar says so. Every stage is taught by the same coaches in the same room.

Ages 4 to 8

Tiny Fist

First gloves and first stance. Coordination, balance, and age-appropriate strength work, taught with the patience a five-year-old needs.

Youth

Kids Boxing

Real technique on the bags, with character development and self-esteem built into every session rather than bolted on at the end.

Older kids and teens

Youth Boxing and Strength

For the ones who want to be athletes. Boxing technique paired with conditioning and strength training.

For parents

What you are actually signing up for

The honest version, so you are not guessing about what happens once your kid is on the floor.

It is not a fight club

No child spars because they showed up. Sparring is an Advanced program decision, made when a fighter is ready and not before.

Discipline is the point

The youth programs are built on listening, effort, and self-control. The boxing is the vehicle, not the destination.

Confidence carries over

Kids who learn to stand their ground in a gym tend to stand differently everywhere else.

You can watch

Come in during open hours, watch a session, and ask questions. Call (855) 513-6050 first so we know to expect you.

The short answer

How young can a child start boxing at Judah Pride?

Age four. Tiny Fist covers ages 4 to 8 with age-appropriate strength work, then Kids Boxing and Youth Boxing and Strength take it from there. Call (855) 513-6050 to place your child.

How young can a child start?

Four. Tiny Fist is built for ages 4 to 8 and keeps the strength work age-appropriate.

Will I have to spar?

Only if you choose to. Sparring lives in the Advanced program. Beginners are never pushed into the ring before they are ready.

What should I bring to my first session?

Athletic clothes, sneakers, and water. Call before you come in and we will tell you exactly what gear you need.
